Currently a postdoctoral researcher in Federated Learning working with the AI Centre in deploying the Federated Learning Interoperability Platform (FLIP) across different NHS trusts, Virginia did her PhD at King’s College on Generative Models for brain MRI at King’s College London. She also has an MSc in Biomedical Engineering by Imperial College London and did her undergraduate studies in Bioengineering at the Technical University of Madrid. Virginia has also been involved in Project MONAI, particularly with the implementation of generative models into the platform, as well as in numerous public and patient engagement projects.
